“I know for sure: Your journey begins with a choice to get up, step out, and live fully.” – Oprah Winfrey
From a recent trip to Boston. I got a couple of cool pictures from the plane, take a look!
“And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom.” ― Anaïs Nin
“Why do you go away? So that you can come back. So that you can see the place you came from with new eyes and extra colors. And the people there see you differently, too. Coming back to where you started is not the same as never leaving.”- Terry Pratchett
I woke up early and decided to go on a walk while most people were sleeping in for the holiday today. With no particular destination in mind, I picked a direction and just kept walking. First through the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA), where I stumbled on some cool art. After walking in Bolton Hill I decided to head to Druid Hill Park. It was a refreshing and peaceful walk, and I absolutely enjoyed the change in scenery over the 4 mile walk.
Artscape is America’s largest free arts festival – attracting 350,000+ visitors over 3 days (www.artscape.org). Right here in Baltimore, and literally just blocks from my apartment. 🙂
